They look so comfy and unbothered. It's too difficult to ignore! 😩

 

I always have to stop what I'm doing and just admire him. Plenty of times I had to sleep close to the edge of the bed so I won't disturb him lol my son thinks I'm crazy! 😂😂😂

Palmhurst man charged with animal cruelty for 'curb stomping' cat

A 20-year-old Palmhurst man was arrested Thursday outside a Tru-Fit Gym in Mission after admitting to smashing a cat with a rock before "curb stomping" it, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Alec Omar Espericueta was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly killing a stray cat by slamming the cat on the ground multiple times, striking the cat on the head with a rock and stomping on the cat's head with his foot.

At 11:28 a.m. on Thursday, a Mission police officer was dispatched to 1718 E. Griffin Parkway in reference to an animal cruelty case.

The officer made contact with a witness who stated over the phone that she saw a man on the east side of the gym parking lot holding what she initially thought was a car mat, according to the affidavit.

She then noticed that he was holding an animal but wasn't sure if it was a cat or dog.  [...]

Today, May 9, is the 13th anniversary of our having to euthanize Cat T-B. #1.

Had her for 10 years.  Match made in Heaven.  Still miss her.

Brushed the daylights out of current Cat T-B. tonight.

Took Cat T-B. to vet for annual fizzicle (this should be the spelling), rabies shot, and 4-wheel manicure.

Traumatic as usual to catch her.

I always put the carrier out a couple of days before true need.

Cat didn't follow her usual routine this morning.

I even called in to say that it didn't look promising.

However, I caught her right afterward.

She screamed during the entire <3-mile drive there, which is frazzling.

Once there, I was afraid that she and I would both have to see a cat psychiatrist.

 

Cat T-B. will be 6 years old in one week.

Tech & vet both commented on her soft fur.

Cat is a little "fluffy" in weight.

Was in & out in half an hour.

 

Cat didn't scream quite as much on the way home.

She had to reinspect the entire downstairs before she was sure that it was home.   

As usual, after the manicure, she has been far calmer than usual (wonder why that is with many/all cats).

She was sleeping until just now, awakening because it's time for treats, Feed Me Now Daddy.
