Urgent help !

Hi everybody

I have a really simple and easy question .

my question is :

when you sent your documents with the form DS-230 , did you have to translate and send the copy of the passport or you sent just a copy without translation ?

I'm kinda confused blink.gif

Most passports have the biographical data in both languages. Check yours to see if it does.

Biographical data is always shown in Roman alphabet, even if in another language too. Nothing in a passport needs translation.

My husband had his passport translated just to be on the safe side. Also include the page that has the expiration date on it. It's not on the biographic page.

Hi tarik,

I'm on CR1 visa as well and having read your message , i decided to message you hoping you may know how many days it takes for the NVC to send the case to casablanca then when will the consulate send the package that enclude the doctor appt and the date of interview !!

I confirm, the passport is an international document, probably the only document you will not need to translate...
