HELLO,

APPLIED FOR AOS IN OCT O5. HAD INTERVIEW WITH IO IN APRIL 06. REQUESTED THREE SERVICE REQUESTS AFTER APRIL 06 THEY SAY THE SAME THING PENDING BACKGROUND CHECK. IO SAID EVERYTHING WAS IN LINE AND SHE EVEN TOOK MY WIFES I-94 SO THAT WAS A GOOD SIGN I THINK INTERVIEW LASTED AROUND 15 MINUTES THAT I REMEMBER AND THE IO WAS VERY NICE LADY BUT I COULD TELL THERE WAS TENSION IN THE ROOM

BUT AFTER MY WIFE SPOKE IN ENGLISH EVERYONE RELAXED. THE IO NEVER STAMPED MY WIFES PASSPORT FOR GREENCARD AND WE ARE STILL WAITING AND WAITNG AND NOW SHE HAS APPLIED FOR THIRD EAD CARD WITH NO PROBLEM. HOW LONG DOES ONE HAVE TO WAIT......................... EVEN CALLED CONGRESSMAN AND THEY NEVER CALLED BACK AND SUGGESTIONS. I WOULD BE WORRIED BUT THE PRICES KEEP GOING UP AND NEXT YEAR THE EAD CARD GOES OVER 300 DOLLARS. THANKS

I am sorry you have been waiting for so long already. I sure hope, your namecheck will be completed soon.

Unfortunately, nobody can tell how long it will take, but there is a thread in this part of the forum AOS approved, pending FBI namecheck. Maybe you wanna ready in there and join the people who are also waiting??

You are waiting for the FBI name check. There is no way to know how long it will take. I believe there is a thread for all those waiting for that. You can join in and discuss your case with people:

I don't think there really is much you can do. The only thing is to get an infopass appointment to know where what's up.

Good luck.

Edit: nane1104 you beat me at it.
