Waiting for so long for an interview.

Hi

Am nana yaw, I have been waiting for an interview schedule after i was DQ as at 1 November 2022 till present in Ghana and I haven't heard fron the NVC and still waiting.  I want to know with your field of expertise is it normal to be waiting for so much long?

I am not sure about Ghana, but some people have waited more than a year at some consulates.  Sadly, some queues are very long.

You can check in the applicable regional forum, but last I heard the backlog was well over a year, maybe even two years for Accra.

Unfortunately perfectly normal. If you search you’ll see that people that have been receiving IL’s this month were DQ’ed in Nov 21, so you’ve got about another year to go unless they pick up the pace.

They last issued interview letters in July

It covered those who were DQed in November 2021 through to February 2022

If they keep sending it like this, you might get your interview letter in October this year
