Hey guys just looked over my 129f and noticed theresome errors. I know I should have looked over everything more carefully, but is there anything I can do? its already been approved and being sent to the embassy in Cambodia. I had some type it up for me, I thought I looked over all the paperwork carefully enough. I'm freaking out now because I now my fiance might not get to come because of my mistake. help!!!!

Depends on the mistake. You misspell names or addresses? Get dates wrong? What exactly did you do wrong? It already got approved and sent to the embassy, so wouldn't you need to contact the embassy to correct things? Would seem sort of strange that the 3-6 month lag time from first sending it out to NOA2 you didn't notice or alert them of the problem.

What are the errors? If you got approved they were likely not glaring ones....

I understand your concern but I don't think you need to freak out.

I've been told by consulate representatives that you can correct it at the consulate.

After you or your fiancee put in the corrections, I'd call a week or two later and make sure that it actually got corrected.

The spelling of my dads name and the address for my work is a little off. How do you contact the consulate about making changes the petition? I'm just freaking out because my fiance says that there have been a lot of people failing there interviews. I know I should of double checked all the stuff on the petition but I didn't I hope it doesn't come back to bite me. Sorry just joined and when I heard about this site so haven't had time to update time line and I am at work too so don't have all the info with me.

Your work address is of no concern.

We are trying to understand the detail of the errors. What kind of spelling error?

For instance if you typed Danial Jones and it should be Daniel Jones, just do it correctly on any remaining paperwork. If you typed Donald Jonas, then perhaps you need to correct more formally, particularly if your last name is Jones, not Jonas.

You don't need to give us the actual name but please tell us about the mistake so we can help you.

You probably just need to make sure the remaining paperwork is correct and ignore it but I don't know without the details.

ok his name is only 3 letters like Run but the petition says Rundeep. Last name is correct so I don't know if I should really worry its just my dads name and not mine.

So something like Donald for Don or Ronald for Ron? The typist probably just figured the long version was the correct one. I would just do it correctly on all future paperwork.

Ok I know I'm a dumbass and should've checked my petition more carefully, but I sent the copy of the petition to my fiance and she says I put the wrong city for her birth place. I guess I miss understood her. now my question is how to change that or contact the consulate about this mistake because I know they will probably will want to see her birth certificate. Please help me I'm such a dumbass I don't want my baby to be screwed for my own f*&ckup.
