Debra&John:

I notice you like to post quotes in your signature and thought I'd share one, which was posted on the wall on the Snake Tower of Bodrum Castle.

Do Not Turn Your Back on Love

Female or Male

Sooner or Later

Young or Old

You Will Taste Death

Enjoy!

I'm wondering how her interview went as well. I hope she got it! I wanna know what questions they asked.

Aynur (my fiance) got her letter last Friday and she sent in our information on Tuesday. Hopefully the interview will be sometime in February but I don't know. I'll be flying over to get her once she gets her visa. We're both getting really nervous and kinda freaking out that they won't believe our relationship due to little physical evidence and the short length of it (we thought the process would take 8 months and it's taken less than 3 so far.)

By the way, for anyone doing a K1 with Ankara... Once the embassy has received your packet from the US you can send them everything they request. We waited 6 weeks to get the letter only to find out it was just a print out of the following webpage. http://ankara.usembassy.gov/uploads/images...g/k1k2visas.pdf

Sorry to hear about the error on John's new Green Card, hope that they will fix it soon.

Well I'am outta here!

Seem to me that I don't belong with this group once again and I feel invisible. I will try to be with others now going through the adjustment period on another forum and move on.

Debra, You have been most helpful and welcoming, Good Luck and Happiness in your new life with John

Betty, Wish you and Seyhan all the Best

SOlcayto, glad to hear your husband is finally here with you in the USA

Mina,

I really think everyone is just real busy to post always...not like we use to. It happens...so please don't take it so seriously. (F)

NY-ANK,

Congratulations on the Visa :dance::dance:

I am sure you will work out the best time to come, all happens in its time, God willing :D Take care and always come back to say "HI" when you can.

We sent in the I-90 to get a corrected Green Card...can take 3 months to 1 year they say....We will see how fast that happens. Now the EAD card is no longer valid because John was issued a Green Card...so now we have to go back to Seattle to get the I-551 stamp in his passport so we can work and or travel.... Sooo we wait some more.

Best Wishes everyone,

Peace to All,

Debbie

(L)(L)(L) Happy Valentine's Day to all. (L)(L)(L)

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

I love thee to the level of everyday's

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;

I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love thee with a passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

Happy Valentine's Day

(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)

An Entrapment

My love, I have tried with all my being

to grasp a form comparable to thine own,

but nothing seems worthy;

I know now why Shakespeare could not

compare his love to a summer’s day.

It would be a crime to denounce the beauty

of such a creature as thee,

to simply cast away the precision

God had placed in forging you.

Each facet of your being

whether it physical or spiritual

is an ensnarement

from which there is no release.

But I do not wish release.

I wish to stay entrapped forever.

With you for all eternity.

Our hearts, always as one.

- Anthony Kolos -
