Hello,

I DQ'd on 5 Apr 23 and my expedite request was approved on 18 Apr 23. My case has changed to ready status and was sent to US Embassy Manila. I haven't received any emails from the Embassy, although the NVC email says Embassy will contact me to schedule appointment. My question is do I schedule the appointment myself?  Thanks for any assistance!

Expedite needs to be requested at every step: NVC and consulate. You need to email them, provide details of the expedite and request an appointment.

The Embassy has approved my expedite request. I need to know do I schedule my appointment or does the Embassy schedule it?

That is a question you should be asking the consulate.

Thanks for your response  but, I am looking for answers from people who have or are processing out of US Manila Embassy!

If your case was expedited at the US embassy in Manila, you may need to book your visa appointment yourself via the online scheduling portal once the case status shows "Ready".  Create your account at USTravelDocs and see if the scheduler is available for your IV case.  If it is not enabled, contact USEM directly.

Yes, I have contacted USEM, and they said to wait for instructional/congratulatory email  from US Embassy. Case status is ready and location is Manila. The case last updated date changed from 19 Apr 23 (date of approval of expedite) to 25 Apr 23 (today) without an email, and I have checked spam folder.

If you don't mind me asking what was the reason for the expedite request? Thank you
