Does anyone know the process to withdraw a i-130 petition of spouse of a US citizen. Our case is already DQ from NVC and is currently processing at Mumbai embassy. We have not received the Interview letter yet. How will i withdraw this case and who should i contact. Please help

The petitioner can withdraw the petition by contacting the consulate.  I would do it via email, and put your names and something like "URGENT/PETITION WITHDRAWAL" in the subject line, so that it doesn't get missed.

May I ask why you want to do this?

Write up a letter stating you want to withdraw I-130 and I-864 ..sign the letter and if possible have it notarized. Email it to NVC and  Mumbai ..

am assuming marriage is in trouble and you have made up your mind divorce is inevitable.

Make sure you are sure this is what you want, because you won’t be able to undo this..case will be done.

Talk it out here…in case your mind is not made up or you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions..
