I just got approved on march 9, I will like to know if the waiting time depends on what embassy process my case . For example mine will be New Hampshire.   ???

The embassy is in New Hampshire? That’s not possible, US embassies and consulates are outside of the US

Ups, sorry  I mean NVC (national visa center)

Oh, ok. NVC does not send welcome letters to K1 applicants, they only send a notice when the case leaves NVC and goes to the consulate. The wait for that notice depends on the backlog at the overseas consulate. If you want to know your NVC case number before that notice, you’ll  have to send a public inquiry to NVC.

Expect a wait of close to 3 months for Dominican Republic.

Yes, I know a few people who are having this issue too. We were able to book right away, so I’m unsure of why they are suddenly having this issue. Hopefully, by the time your case is ready you won’t have to worry about that.
