I'm in Antigua with my husband and we're an hour ahead lol! I checked my CEAC account and the message came in at 7:49 and I received the email at 8:32 EST.

I just DQ'ed also, submitted 10th of Feb USA time.

 

But.... I have a review note saying my sponsor does not meet minimum requirements, when they do. My wife was a stay at home mum* until recently so had some negative tax returns the past few years (due to a business shes involved in)

 

Does anyone have any experience with this at the interview, will I need to get a sponsor or could I explain the situation to the officer?

I'd try asking this in a new post - most of the people in this post are pre-interview.

Anyone else in the same situation?

 

I received an email today from NVC that there was an update on your case, but I did not receive DQ email or further message on my CEAC page.
The only thing that has changed is that the status of the document I submitted is now all ACCEPTED.
If anyone has ever been in the same situation and received a DQ email a few days later, please let me know.

Hi everyone,

I got my interview letter this morning! This was much faster than expected, but the date is very far in the future - April 17th. I'm a bit surprised since they previously said the wait time is a few weeks only.

But I did get into contact with them and most likely the are going to be able to offer me an appointment in early April, they just have to wait for my file to get there.

 

I'm so glad to finally have an "end date", now I can really focus on getting the medical done, all the documents together and start getting rid of all the stuff in the apartment.

 

I hope everyone gets DQed and their ILs fast!

I also got an IL today:
DQ: 24 February

IL: 1 March

Interview date: 20 April

 

Also for late April, but that seems to be in line with what others are seeing for the London consulate.

Did you apply through any law firm? Maybe they received the DQ notice. Or wait for another couple of days…. Check all your mail folders as well

I need your support….Haven’t received any notice yet…. And lots of people with same submission date have already received an answer. Sent documents Feb.11. And no answer so far

Didn't you say you have to submit your documents by mail??  If you had to send yours by mail I think it would follow a slightly different timeframe from electronic submissions.  Though elsewhere I did see one report about two weeks ago where someone said they submitted by mail and the timeframe was within a few days of electronic submissions at the time.   The person who reported that didn't say if they were going by mailed date or received date.   I'm sure you would get news soon.

It's probably just a glitch with CEAC that would straighten itself out in a day or so.  Their system is notoriously buggy.  But unless and until you actually see the words "DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED" in your CEAC messages or e-mail, you should not just assume that you are.  All documents accepted and approved is not the same documentarily qualified because there are cases where they accept and approve everything and then ask for something additional.  I wouldn't worry, but you should probably double triple check your CEAC message inbox and if you received an e-mail that said "The National Visa Center (NVC) updated the status of your immigrant visa application." yet there is no kind of message at all, then just as a precaution you should probably file an inquiry at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
