Not quite what I asked for, but nonetheless I wouldn’t put any energy into getting a BC that you likely have zero authority to get.  Unless you or he later renounce U.S. citizenship, I don’t see how the lack of this evidence is at all material.

The stepchild is from my spouse previous non-marital relationship.

 

The child was born overseas, and it was the biological U.S citizen mom who brought the child over to the US.

 

The child is already a US citizen even before me and my husband met.

@Mike E My stepchild got his citizenship through naturalization. His biological mom petitioned him to the US.

@OldUser Is it okay to upload Tax Account Transcript instead of Tax Return Transcript to submit with the n-400 app online? 

 

IRS only provides 3 years' worth of tax return transcripts compared to tax account transcripts which provides 5 years' worth of tax history which is exactly what I need.
