I am the beneficiary of an I-130 spousal visa.  I am not currently in the US and quite early into the application process.   I work for an international company who are considering transferring me to the US on an L1A visa.

Has anyone experienced similar before, and how would this then work for me progressing the I-130 from within the US, rather than consular filing as it is requested presently?

Thanks in advance

Once you are here you file I 485 and adjust in Country so usually a quicker and better option

Thank you for replying.

Although in my case I am not sure it will be the much quicker option as they don't want me to leave my position here until Jul 23 earliest, by which time I should be close to approval here in the UK. Could I keep the process going in the UK and fly back for medical / interview rather than file I-485?

Yes, hence usually.

Great, thanks.  It seems easier than I thought and would still likely physically get me there sooner, but if it's not until that late I might as well keep the process running here and save the money for I-485 and use the opportunity to fly back for a visit with family also.
