How long does it take to get the appointment date at the US Embassy in Bogota after the NVC approved all the documents?

Hi, I have a question, The NVC approved all the documents on November 8/2022, its been almost a month, How long does it take to get the appointment date after the NVC approved all the documents?

Depends on the consulate and type of visa applied for.   Please post your question in the correct forum and update your profile for a better response.

It is all based on availability of dates at the consulate.  When a date is available she will be scheduled.

I only got an email that says The NVC received and approved the fees, form and documents that are required prior attending to an  immigrant interview at the US embassy, NVC will work the us embassy/consulate in Bogota Colombia to schedule an interview, once we have confirmed an interview date we will send a notice to you, the portioner and attorney (if applicable)

Hi, you answer my question on the other topic but it got deleted, thanks for replaying, you asked if I was already advide on what to do, the answer is no, I just and email saying (((The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas. NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in BOGOTA, COL to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable)))

The advice was "Create a timeline on here so you can compare your case with others here on the site.  Then you can get a feel for how processing is going."

If I had to guess I would say 8 to 12 months.

When the NVC schedule an interview appointment they send me an email letting me know? Or where do they will send the notice?
