I applied for I-129F on Sept. 28 2020 at CSC, then I received a notice that they transferred my application to VSC on April 19 2022, I still haven't receive any updates. My question is what's the reason why they transferred my application and how long will it take to be approved for security check? I called USCIS for any updates, I was told that my application is still waiting for approval.

I-129f petitions transferred from CSC to VSC usually involve petitioner’s criminal history. There is no one estimate for how long it will take but it will take a long time

Certain types of crimes in the petitioner’s background trigger the transfer from CSC to Vermont.   
 

It can take several years to complete the background checks and adjudicate whether the the petitioner is eligible.
