I am in the same boat. Mine was transferred from NBC to Potomac in January but have not heard of any progress. I have been waiting since July of 2022 since I submitted my I-824.

Anyone have any updates? Do you think it is better to just submit a new I-130? I have already written to congressional reps to inquire about my case and even submitted a request for expedite with no response.

Can you please explain that what was in the congressman latter?

I call every month. They always tell me what I already know. No change on mine. It's been 10 months since we sent it in and 4 months since it's been transferred.

Ok thanks for the update. I’ll let you know if things change for me. I'm 7 months in.

Your congressman/ state senator will have specific section on their website for helping with a federal agency. My senator had an online form I needed to fill and they contacted me for further details like case I’d etc and then sent an inquiry in. Congressman had a physical form they needed me to send in using USPS but process after that was similar.

pick any one of the senators or congressmen and start the process. Don’t send it to multiple - uscis will notify them of duplicate inquiries.

To help everyone here with the PSC timelines: My I824 took exactly 10 months to get approved by the Potomac service center.

I had my congreewoman and senator inquire on my behalf on a regular basis. Dont know if that did much but if you are waiting, it couldnt hurt to do that.

Did you contact anyone
