  1. Our I-824 was finally approved and is now at the NVC!
  2. I call every month. They always tell me what I already know. No change on mine. It's been 10 months since we sent it in and 4 months since it's been transferred.
  3. Wow, your I-130 was approved fast! Be thankful! It took ours 13 months!! Don’t expect the I-824 to be that quick. We have been waiting for 8 months on ours. Welcome to gaining patience my friend! We had made a simple mistake on our I-130. And that has cost us dearly. A single key stroke would fix it that would take .5 seconds. Good luck!
  4. Yeah I did all the same things you did as well. The congressmen can’t do anything about it. I believe if you filed another I-130 it would just further complicate and prolong your current situation. Unfortunately, I feel this to be a test of our patience. You’re not alone. Our situation is exactly identical.
  5. Just got word my wife's I-824 was transfered from NBC to Potomac for faster processing. Does anyone know maybe how long this may take?
  6. My wife's was transfered back to Potomac from the NBC for faster processing. Which, I believe, never left to begin with.
  7. Dear Jerry,

My wife is a Thai citizen whom I'm sponsoring for a marriage green card. She recently got the NVC "documentarily qualified" on 10/3/22, and we were wondering how long will it take to get an interview in Bangkok.

Do you mind sharing your dates for 1) Documentarily Qualified 2) received your interview letter 2)  actual interview? This is for US Embassy in Bangkok.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Sincerely,

    Julian

  8. My wife's visa application has been approved, June 30, 2022. It took 1 year, 1 month

Thank you. You wouldn't happen to know how long that time might be, do you?
