Good Morning all. My mom is getting ready to file N400, she’s 65 years old and don’t have a lot of familial information. She knows her parents name but can’t remember much else about their bio. Do you think we could be RFE’d if we leave some of that info out. Is it better to file online or by mail?

No and No.

online is better for your situation

my wife’s experience

She does not know the birth month and day of her parents in the Gregorian calendar that the USA uses.

Since her parents were never U.S. citizens,  the online form ultimately produced an n-400 PDF  that completely skipped over  her parents.

I really don’t know the answer to that question. It was so long ago.

Thank you. Will try that and see how it goes. We also don’t have a birth certificate for my oldest sister. The numb skull lost it.

Why do you think you need your oldest sister’s birth certificate?

They will ask for the names,

address, birth dates of her children. If she is applying for citizen on the basis of being married for 3 years to a U.S. citizen, they will ask for birth certificates of children produced by  that marital union.

If your 65 year old mother produced children in the past 3 years, then she has an impressive womb.

Lol. She’s applying based on the 5 year rule. She obtained her GC via my sponsorship. Thank you for the laugh and the info.

And

1. all her children are aged 18 or over?

2. she was never subject of a chisel support agreement or court order requiring her to pay child support?
