CBP says she overstayed, error in I-94 and time to renew B2

You’re absolutely sure the plane took off by 11:59pm on the 22nd?

Everything went well. The person who did the interview asked her about staying one day extra (i.e. leaving on Feb 23rd instead of 22) then mother-in-law brought a copy of flown indicator from the airline shows the exact departure day. Then visa was approved. The whole interview took no more than 3 minutes.
