USCIS Access

With the 2-factor identification, I have to give my wife a code each time for her to log in. Is there a way to give access to my wife to our USCIS online account through her email? Can she create her own account and then just add our cases and if so would she have access to the files I uploaded?

Apart from the first creating the case and uploading the documents, there won't be much to do in the account, except for checking the status of your case. This checking can be done much simpler using the "casetrack" app which is updated almost instantly if any changes happen. I got notified of my approval from this app.

Go to "Edit My Account Profile" and edit 2 factor authentication.  You can change it to email.

The I-130 is the USC's petition, so even if your wife creates her own USCIS account, she will not be able to add the I-130 case to it.

No real reason for your wife to have access to the USCIS account and the files you uploaded. Once they are submitted you just have to wait for approval.

She can check the case status by entering receipt number on this page: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

She will be able to see when the case is being actively reviewed and when it is approved.

Once that happens she will receive an email to upload documents to the NVC portal and she won't require your assistance.

I am the beneficiary in our situation, didn't ever access the USCIS via login and didn't ever need to...
