Not such a big deal in London. They generally want none of that at the interview.

It's not London, it's USCIS that makes the big deal.  I know firsthand. :D  Good luck.

You'll also need sworn statements from friends/family that know you to prove it's real

Congratulations.  Its your relationship and you do what you feel is right for you both.  Just be prepared to prove its a bonafide relationship.  You'll need receipts receipts receipts, e.g. trip dates, hotel stays, if any, gifts, pictures, phone logs, etc.  You'll also need sworn statements from friends/family that know you to prove it's real.  good luck!!!!!!

No, they will not need any sworn statements.  You are reading from a list that is preceded by the words "In addition to the required....." meaning clearly NOT REQUIRED.  Then it says SHOULD and ONE OR MORE, prior to the list.  Most newlyweds who have not yet lived in the same country, end up submitting evidence from the last category that starts with the words "Any other...."  which usually is some photos together and passport stamps and/or boarding passes as evidence of time spent together in person.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

I wouldn't worry too much about how it looks. When my wife and I married, I had been divorced for just over a year. If USCIS had any issues with the timeline, they didn't inform me. :D

As others have said, make sure you're able to check all the boxes for requirements. I think you're going to be just fine :)

What I miss most about Canada, in no particular order:

My family!

My friends!

KD!

Hawkins Cheezies!

Poutine!

Lays Ketchup Chips!

What I don't miss:

-40 degree weather
