Im just curious as to what steps we should take once my fiancé gets here on a K-1 visa. What forms and fillings we should do once we get married.

You can start with the AOS guide

https://www.visajourney.com/guides/adjustment-of-status-k1-k3-visas/

I recommend download the I-94 as soon as it is available online. Get the SSN after you have the I-94. Get married in a county where you can get the marriage certificate soon after marriage. Many AOS filers overlook the wait-time for the marriage certificate and that becomes a bottleneck for completing the I485. And then complete as many processes before the I-94 expires like name change, bank accounts, etc. Not a hard fast rule to get as many paperwork and processes completed before the I-94 expiration, but I'm coming to the conclusion that it will make life more simple if you do.

You can look at my Profile and Timeline to see the steps we are going thru.

Everything you need to know is in the guide section mentioned above.

Word of advice, always try to learn all the steps from beginning to end before starting a journey. This will allow you to know what to expect and prevnet any unforseen circumstances.

The guides on VJ can be read in only a few minutes and it has everything from applying for a visa to citizenship.

IME and IMHO, this link is also valuable:

Thanks to that flow chart we got my wife her SSN. Instead of step 19 (change her name which I never recommend until after naturalization) we went to the DMV to get her REAL ID. This step needs to be done on or before day 30 of the authorized stay.
