I am filling out the application for the Authenticated Statement of No Marriage in Michigan and I was wondering which years I am supposed to have them search.

I was married 2 times -  In 1994  Married then divorced in 2001.

Then I was married again in 2005 then divorded again in 2020.

Can some one please help me to understand which years I need to have them search? I am confused what they are asking for.

Do I need to have them search all the years I was not married ? Strarting back from my divorce in 2001?

Thank you

You need all.

All your prior marriages have to be reported

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Yes, I understand.. But there is a application we need to fill out for a search that the state of Michigan will conduct..

I was trying to figure out wich years I need to request them to search..  Because there is a fee for every year that I request them to search.

Do you know which years I need to have them search? Is it the years I was not married or the years I was married or just the current year that we are in to show that I am not currently married?

There is really no way to prove that you were not married in the US.

Have them search the years that you were married and divorced.  You wrote them in your original post.

My understanding is that CENOMAR is only needed from the beneficiary, not the petitioner. But I'm sure people with experiences with the K-1 interview in Manilla will be able to tell you exactly what you need.

Even if the state of Michigan can find 'evidence' that you were not married there, there is no way to confirm you never flew to Vegas for an Elvis wedding, or got married anywhere else in this big country.

This is why 'CENOMAR' is not part of this process for USCs, and for beneficiaries of 99% of other countries.  Philippines is special that way.

You don't need this.

Only the person in Philippines needs to produce it for themselves

Always good to have, I suspect they will not ask for them but good to have

Don't forget to have her do the CFO, I don't know if it's online or in person, but she will need the CFO stamp to leave the Philippines

Good Luck
