I-131 Emergency Advanced Parole

Hi,

My wife has applied for an emergency advanced parole because her sister is very sick and could pass away. We have an appointment tomorrow. My question is just about the list of things we're required to bring, that they sent in the email notice. The last item is "A completed Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, with payment (if payment is required)."

We already have a pending I-131 application for her and will be bringing the I-797 NOA for it. So, will we have to pay again?

Thanks,

No, you don’t have to pay if you filed a I-485 concurrently. I’d bring a copy of a NOA1 for I-485 to show that.

Thank you for your response! We already have that NOA printed as well. I'm glad we don't have to pay again. Things are getting expensive, as is.

Thanks so much for this! I had filed AP long ago with the AOS and it never went anywhere. Thought I would have to start a whole new one for the emergency situation I find myself in now, but glad to see that's not the case.
