Is Petitioner allowed to accompany during Spouse/Child Interview?

Hi,

 

Interview (Group) for my wife and child (15 years old) is coming up at Mumbai embassy. Does anyone know if I (Petitioner - USC) can accompany them to the interview? I am submitting I-864 so it would be good if I can accompany them to answer any questions regarding I-864.

Consulates generally have their own rules.  It is probably best to email the Mumbai consulate directly and ask if the USC is allowed in for the family based visa interview.
