Trying to fill out, but I can't seem to find 'Priority Date' and 'DQ Date'. Are there fields that mean the same thing but have a different name? Don't want to fill in the wrong information.

Yep, PD is the I-140 sent date, DQ is Packet 4 I think.

And you can search timelines at the top of the page, filter it by EB and consulate to find ones specific to Montreal. The more people that add their data, the better!

Thanks but I filed an I-526, not I-140. If I fill out that I filed an I-140, it would be incorrect and could create confusion for others down the line.

As this is a thread for EB2 applicants, I assumed it was a I-140. I've no idea what the EB-5 timeline looks like or what fields you have, but your PD is just the date you submitted your application.

Thanks - that’s definitely a fair point! I guess since Montreal lumps all EB visas together for processing times, we’d all benefit from keeping each other up-to-date on DQ and IL dates regardless of which EB category. I’ve definitely found this thread super helpful, despite not being EB2.

Each has different current PD's on the Visa Bulletin, so that can make a big difference to wait times though. And of course, each category fills its quota at different times - last year EB5 was the first to fill IIRC.

But I guess as long as people bear that in mind, it's not a bad thing to get a general idea of where Montreal is up to, as long as people don't expect the same will necessarily apply to their case.

Sorry. I am based in the UK. The wait time for London was May 2025. 3 days ago, it turned to May 2023. I have refreshed the website repeatedly hoping its an error but it really doesn't look like that. Does someone know what is going on or what one can do? The whole thing will shatter my immigration plans this way.

@saololu This is a Montreal embassy only forum. Perhaps try in the UK forum instead.

Good morning all,

I want to inquire about something.  If someone is already Documentary Qualified and comes from a country that they are considering for a potential travel ban, If the person obtains Canada citizenship in 2 years time and decides to change his nationality or  passport to Canadian Passport so that the travel ban will not affect him. When the person contacts NVC to make this change, does the person’s Documentary qualified date change?

Thank you.

It's not an error, it's because there will soon be no more visas for this fiscal year in most EB categories. But more info is needed to help you - your visa category, country of birth, and Priority Date. Please post in a relevant thread in the UK forum (or start your own if there isn't one) and somebody will try and help.

@Emmajapan Hi, you have had a lot of such specific questions. I think you really need to get a American immigration lawyer to look at your case. This is a forum for people waiting for their Montreal interview. You really need an American immigration lawyer to help you with these kind of questions. All the best.

Hello Guys,

The September 2025 visa bulletin has been released ; the September 1, 2023 PD is still there for EB 2nd category for ROW.

Does it mean that those who have PDs till August 31,2023 may still get interview letters before the end of the fiscal year of 2025??
