Hi all, can someone please help. If I completed my medical on 1st October 2020 and my I-485 is still being reviewed, if I don't get my interview by 1st October will I need to re-do my medical? Unsure if the medical is valid for 12months only or if they will still accept it after this mark?

Do you mean 1st October 2021?

In any case, the medical is valid provided you filed the I-485 within one year of taking the medical.

i -693 medical is valid for 2 years since the doctor signed it

is it october 2020? if yes, u might need a new one for medical if u wont get approved until then

but dont do anything until u got letter from USCIS. dont burn ur money for a new medical until then

edit : im not sure are u adjusting from K1 or not. if from K1 yes, it valid 1 year.

If you mean the visa medical you completed abroad, then it is valid indefinitely, IF your vaccination worksheet is marked complete AND you filed your I-485 within 1 year of the medical date.

I have a similar question, I also did my medical abroad in 2020. Since then they have added the covid 19 vaccine to the required list, will we have to get it checked by a civil surgeon or is the vaccine card sufficient?

Same answer -- your visa medical is valid indefinitely, IF your vaccination worksheet is marked complete AND you filed your I-485 within 1 year of the medical date.  Bring your COVID vaccination card to the AOS interview.

Note that some who get waived AOS interview get RFE for I-693 anyway, even if their vaccination worksheet meets the conditions above.
