Just curious how long it's running on average for an interview? We got notified 20 SEP 2021 that we passed everything and they USCIS would be contacting us for an interview but its been 9 months so far.

Depends on the processing times of your particular Local Field Office for I485.

Have you checked the timeline at yours on the website?

Why is there such a huge difference in waiting times between field offices? Down in Florida literally took a couple months end to end, yet I hear about other places taking a year or even more.

Removal of Conditions (I-751)
2/17/24: I-751 packet shipped via FedEx

2/20/24: I-751 packet delivered

2/22/24: Receipt Number available on USCIS Portal

2/27/24: Extension Letter Available Online, Biometric Re-use letter, "Case is being actively reviewed"

probably bigger population, lotsa diversity = more intermarriage with foreigner. also not enough staff or the office size that its not huge

for example california and new york seems quite faster compare to atlanta, they have many offices spreading out

i live in portland, ME. the whitest state in USA. asian population only 1%. i got the interview notice in 3 months. ( 3 weeks from now)
