Hi

I requested an expedite for my husband and about a week ago the Embassy accepted the request…

Today I got a message saying “Case expedited to post”

Does anyone know what that means?

Does it mean that NVC forwarded the case to the Embassy? Does that mean the interview is near?

My husband’s case got expedited without me requesting one may 3. My lawyer told me it can take 2 weeks through 3 months. But yes it’s near!! Congrats! We have waiting for years

your file now is with the consulate or embassy and they will look at the paperwork you submitted during the interview.

You will not receive a DQ email from NVC as the file is no longer with them.

Good luck with the interview

embassy needs to notify u when they have an interview scheduled

meanwhile ,   get the needed criminal report and have it translated into English

have all your sudanese documents translated into English as they plus the originals in that language will be needed for the interview

since your embassy has no special instructions for the spousal interview ,  check the USCIS site to know all documents needed

and to next question always asked "No,  u can not schedule the medical exam till u get the notice for the interview and the document to take to the dr"

I’m pregnant and my pregnancy is high risk and I have no support system here. I got documents from the clinic to support this and I had my senator’s office file the expedite for me

Thank you to all that replied ❤️
