You can start applying for removal of conditions 90 days before your GC expires. You still have 2 years to work things out, so don't worry about the foreclosure. Just try to work things out from here on. Good luck.

You need to contact your financial institution tho about your home...if you are still planning on staying there at the house..and try to work out a deal. Do not ignore their notices. Staying in contact with them and letting them know what is going on in your life is the best option. Most financial institutions are willing to work out a payment arrangement, but you have to make good on what you arrange.

Definitely call your financial institution and let them know your financial situation. They will try to arrange sometime of payment plan agreement. Foreclosure for a bank or lending place is expensive & they'd like to avoid it too. But you have to be in contact with them. Otherwise, one day your home will be on the auction block... with you still in it.

Maybe a refinancing to a variable interest rate would help you out with a smaller monthly payment? I know this is only a short term fix, but maybe that's what you need.
