There is always an overlay in validity of the old version whenever a new form is released. Can't recall the how long the old version is valid after the release of the new one. Am guessing at least 2 to 6 months at least.

Also if a new version is not out, the old one remains valid.

If you are submitting in April, the current form will still be valid.

Checkout i-134 form. it expired 02/28/2021 but that is the most recent version so it is still valid.

OMB expiration date is irrelevant.  What matters is the edition date, found on the lower left corner of the form pages.  Current edition date is 09/13/21.  As per the official USCIS page for I-693 -- "Medical examinations signed by the civil surgeon Oct. 1, 2021, or later must use the 09/13/21 edition. We will continue to accept prior editions for medical examinations signed by the civil surgeon before Oct. 1, 2021."

The I-693 expiring 3/31/22 is the MOST current revision and will be valid for a while. To accommodate those with pending medicals when COVID vax was mandated, USCIS has extended prior revision .
You have nothing to worry about .

The medical last 6 months. If your interview is after the medical expire, you have to make a new one (and pay again) . If you had your medical before they ask for covid vaccine, you have to do it again. After 1 oct they require to have the vax in the medical as well.
so, if the interview is before the medical expire, and you have the covid vax in the medical file as well, you are good 👍🏼
