Hi All,

We filed our I485 packet back in July and we received an RFE in September.  To this day we still have not received anything and there is no updates on our USCIS account other than the fact that they received the RFE and are reviewing it.  Does anyone in the Houston area have any updates on how much longer it will be before we receive EAD/Travel Authorization or even a Visa Interview?   I am starting to loose hope already.

My understanding the ead is at the national benefits center not Houston. Have you done your biometrics yet. For Houston it looks like a greencard appointment is about 14 months after applying. By the timeline in visajourney they are working in July for ead. There have been a few luckily ones that have gotten it quick. I am also Houston aos and ead for my husband.

Yes, we did biometrics in September.  Ok,we'll that might be some good news, if they are doing July ead we might be hearing something soon because we applied in July.

Yes hopefully you will get it soon. They say they go in order generally but there is really no understanding to their process. Good luck. Update your timeline when you get it so others can know about where they are in the process.
