Ok, so regardless of whether they are immigrating based on her petition as derivatives (which they are not) or that they have their own petitions (which they do), since they are immigrating at the same time as her, the answer would be YES ?

Yes, because that is the question.

Just had one more key question that we have been wondering about --- Is there any specific requirement for my spouse to submit the DS-260 (in other words make the visa application) within 1 year of her receiving the welcome letter, or can we delay submitting the form as long as we keep in touch with the NVC, pay fees etc.?

You can delay indefinitely as long as you stay in touch with NVC.  If you are going to delay, don't submit the affidavit of support before you are ready to proceed, as it should be as current as possible.

Ok got it... regarding the AOS I was forced to upload an affidavit of support for joint sponsor when adding my mother as joint sponsor a couple of weeks ago, which is read only (cannot be deleted). Seems like my choice is to add an updated AOS as an attachment (along with the financial documents) and a note prior to submitting everything to NVC, and if that doesn't work give an updated AOS to my wife for the interview.

On the subject of delay, I (primary sponsor) am unemployed and we have been wondering if it makes sense to go with a Joint Sponsor (which I do have) or would it be better to wait until I have a job (which may take a few months yet), or alternately submit now with Joint Sponsor and send the updated affidavit at the interview if I have a job by then?

Neither is better than the other.  Chose based on your own priorities.

Hi, I had a question regarding listing out social media accounts on the DS-260. My wife has a youtube account that she logs into using her google email ID, and youtube seems to have automatically created a channel for her, although she has no subscribers, no uploaded videos, no playlists, only a few liked videos. Do we need to list this youtube account on the DS 260? If yes, can I use her email ID to specify her username or handle on youtube ?

YouTube accounts are often automatically generated. Because you are aware of it- list it.

Okgot it....... but one question we had is what ID to put here - the login ID (my spouse's gmail ID), the channel ID which is a randomly generated string, or the name displayed on the channel (my spouse's name) which is not searchable  via google or youtube?

I would put the login and or the long string. The idea behind asking for social media handles is so theoretically they can see what you've been posting/commenting online.

Okay...  there isn't enough place in the field to put www.youtube.com/channel/<long string> so ill just put the long string. Thanks!

Actually they are looking for "publicly available information". Hence if my spouse's name is "Jane Doe" and her comments appear on youtube under the name "Jane Doe", then that is her social media identifier in Youtube is how I understand it.  Hence the name that appears over her comments would be her social media identifier for YouTube..
