Here is what you must do next.

Step 1. Create a VJ timeline and fill in the appropriate dates. You can do that here by looking for Timeline Functions, then Edit / Add My Entry.

Step 2. Read the VJ guides. Go to this page then look at the bottom for instructions as to what to do after the I-129F is approved.

Step 3. Look for a fourm dedicated to the Brazil Embassy. If you can't find one, search for Brazil at the top of almost any VJ page and read everything you can find.

Good luck!

I FINALLY got through to the NVC!

...And there were no live operators available at the time I called (about three minutes ago). Bloody figures!! Gahh. *headdesk*

Call DOS. 202-663-1225. When they answer press option 1, then at the next prompt press option 0 . They have the same information as NVC and they are usually easier to reach. Several people have also said that they are more helpful than NVC.

Gah... I tried calling the NVC just before, but the number doesn't seem to work for me... I used 001+1+603-334-0700. I'm probably doing it wrong. Or perhaps I can't call them from Australia? Help? :help::blush:

try 001 603 334 0700.......thats what I call from UK

001 is same as +1 so shouldn't need to do both

Nope... Still not working for me. The phone number is incomplete according to the recorded voice.

hmmmmmm I'm confuggled...

Holy #######! Touched today! First time since July 31.

Lucky, we still don't have any action here.

BTW what is your service center? your timeline says Nebraska but they dont handle cases anymore..

Approved. Service center is CSC.

Katz, I'm a bit rusty from being out of Aus for so long, but isn't the initial international code 0011? if that's the case, wouldn't you need it + country code? so if dialling the UK is 0011 44, dialling the States would be 0011 1...?

hope that's right and not just complete rubbish ;)

congrats on all the approvals! great news in here today... sending my love to people whose journeys aren't going as smoothly :(

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

well, that depends how you look at it... all Nebraska filers are now California filers, so most people have changed their timelines to reflect that fact :)

I would recommend you do it too... you'll get much more accurate data that way :)
