3 weeks ago I attended my “cancelled” interview. (Actually tomorrow would be 3 weeks). I am waiting on a response anxiously. Has anyone ever received a notification advising that their inquiry would be responded to in two days and that you would get a call but didn’t submit an inquiry?
 

The Email reads:

 

Message from USCIS:

You will receive a call back regarding your inquiry with the USCIS Contact Center in 1-2 business days. Please expect a call from: 202-838-2200. Officers may call starting at 7am local time.

Please note that you may be able to use our self-help tools for future inquiries. You can check your case status online, view current processing times, and submit an inquiry about your case. You may also be able to send us a message about your case if you filed online and created a USCIS Online Account.

Please do not reply to this message.  See our Contact Us page for phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Called to get info pass to get second i-551 stamp before it expires in November, They will call back within 2 weeks to schedule infopass - 10/6/21

Infopass scheduled for 10/26/21 and told 10/28/2021 Interview still on. Went to Interview. Told need to call USCIS for another infopass appointment. Emergency Infopass scheduled for 11/2/2021.

Yes. My interview was actually "cancelled" still shows canceled online but when i went on the infopass to get the stamp i was told my interview is still on the scheduled date. I went that was 3 weeks ago.  The officer told me I should receive letter in the mail within 3 weeks. tomorrow would be the 3rd week.  

 

However, I received the notifications above.

 

My question though is has anyone ever received a notification advising that they will be responding to your inquiry when you didnt open an inquiry.  What does this mean that they will call me?
