NVC - uploaded one additional document a month later

Hi, hopefully someone who has been through this can calm my Nerves!

I submitted all the documents needed on September 17th. NVC is taking so long! It’s looking like they’ll reach September documents in December 😢. Anywho today I realized I should’ve uploaded my w2 along with my tax return so I just uploaded it under additional documents just incase! Do you know if this will delay my case? When they reach September 17 documents will they review the one I submitted today all at once?

It’s ridiculous as to how slow NVC is moving! Praying they catch up before all the holiday season starts!

Generally speaking each time you hit submit, that date then becomes your new submission date, so each time you submit you go back to the end of the queue and wait the 86~Days.

At least you uploaded the W2 now rather than wait till Dec and then have to resubmit and wait all over again.

Thank you so much. I also see on that thread that someone’s case was reviewed on time even though they submitted additional document bi hope that happens to me. Nvc used to take 3 weeks now they’re taking 3 months. This is ridiculous

Welcome to government, where a review of a simple document takes months, and the exorbitant fees you pay to immigrate don’t get you any service in return.

Just an FYI. My case was reviewed on time. Me submitting the document on October 27th didn’t put me at the end of the queue. I guess this happens when you resubmit after nvc gives you an RFE

Glad your case was reviewed on time! I submitted an additional document two months after my initial submission..

What category did you submit those additional documents in? I heard if you submit them under "other" you won't go to the back of the line. I submitted under "tax transcript" so I'm really worried I just added another 2 months to my waiting time.

Oh. I added it in the other category! When did you add the tax documents?
