Hi guys,

Not sure if the is the correct thread, please move it if not.

My birth certificate is in Greek, should I officially translate it by lawyer so can be accepted by city hall for the marriage license? I know for USCIS can be translated by me but could not find anything related for lisence.

Thank u in advance

Did you visit the city hall website? They should have information there. In my case, it said that everything not in English must be translated and notarized. They also wanted it done by a translation agency.

Thank you! Better to call then as there is no such info online.
