Person/Entity Paying your Trip for K1 visa

Hi everyone, 

 

I put SELF as  Person/Entity Paying your Trip for K1 visa. I was thinking they were talking about my flight. Later I realized that they were actually talking about the I-134 sponsor. I'm not sure if I should go back and try to create a new DS160. Please help! Will this create a problem?

If you are paying for your travel, such as buying your ticket, then your answer was correct.

I see. Thank you for the prompt reply. Yes, I will be paying for my ticket. Do I need to submit my bank statements as well? To prove that I can pay for my ticket? Sounds funny, but I don't know how flexible they are with these things. Haha.

No. You just need to fill out the form and upload a photo.

No need to prove that you can pay for your ticket yourself.

 

Note that the DS-160 form is also used for other non-immigrant visa types.  That question on the form is mostly relevant for those other types, like B2 tourist visa applications.
