Can anyone tell me where they have to leave the phones?

Is it that shuttle station or at the embassy somewhere?

Also, how far is the shuttle from the embassy?

Much obliged

So I went there with my husband and we both left our phones before the shuttle station in our car. I would advise you do that, although it will be safe but I still advise you leave it with someone you trust like home or car.

US embassy is the last stop in the enclave of Islamabad so it takes about 10 minutes (best to prepare that way). Shuttle service is where the enclave is and all the embassies are in that area so shuttle service is part of that. you just have to get to the enclave.

Interestingly she just told me that she has permits to travel inside the enclave (due to her job)

but has never left her car in there or anything before, always in and out due to work reasons.

I still suggested what you told me here. That best to follow the common path and go through the shuttle instead of looking for parking and all that just because you never know if they even allow parking there.

So yeah, that makes sense now that she can just leave the car at the shuttle station, leave her phone there and take the shuttle. Thank you much

I dont know how that would work but she can certainly find out if she can take her car inside or do the common path. maybe it is best to do what everyone is doing it will be better that way.

Is the appointment confirmation page with the barcode supposed to be taken to the interview in a physical copy?

If so, where do they present this printed copy?

It is not listed on the list of things to bring to the interview but seems important since it’s the appointment confirmation.

Yes you take that for medical and for the interview. You show that at the embassy's entrance and at the shuttle place. You need 3 documents at the medical and those same documents are needed at the embassy along with your ID and passport

Yes, it's today! Hopefully, he is being seen right now. He's been there since early early morning. He was like the first car in front of the gate. 😅 I really do hope he is next, I would be so hungry to wait this long and no phone is so difficult...

My fiance had her interview at 8

She said she thinks there was one guy there for k1 interview.

I know the odds are crazy that he would be the only other one she saw! His appointment was for 8am too...  We got one of the last time slots for today, maybe that's the order they are going in... Patience is a virtue 😆

How did it go for him?

They give 8 am to all the applicants because the embassy opens at 8, but it is when you get to the embassy they allocate numbers and then you get your turn based on that.
