2/2/2021 I-129F Sent via USPS to Dallas Lockbox

2/8/2021 I-129F received by USCIS at the Lockbox

3/16/2021 Notification and receipt # delivered via text from USCIS

Hi, have you gotten your NOA2 yet?

We are still waiting. Day 208, I’m hopeful for Day 220.

09/30/2021 NOA2 Case Approval via USCIS Case Tracker App.

Congrats!

I see you filed in 2021 I did 2020 but you got your NOA2, is there anything you did to speed this up like call them? thanks

I did not call at all, but if you have filed since 2020, you should be calling everyday and submitting a case inquiry to USCIS. This is way out of the normal processing time.

Have you gotten an NVC case number yet?

I just got it today! I’ll be updating this very soon!

Paying the Pakistan visa fee is quite an ordeal, be ready to pay in person to get the earlier options for interview times. There is a bit of waiting involved in the process.

Oh you can't pay it online? Where do you have to go to pay in-person?

You will have to go to the bank they work with. Check the embassy website for these specific details now.

Hello
did you wait to receive packet 3.5 before scheduling for an interview. If yes, how long did it take for you to receive the packet 3.5?

We did not wait for packet 3.5. What is packet 3.5? We just did everything electronically according to the directions on CEAC and US travel docs website.

When you paid your fee for the interview where is the receipt number

The receipt number is just your Pak ID number. Once the fee is paid it is coordinated with your application and the Pak ID then it just works… it’s odd…

Can you please update with what they asked in the interview?

the nvc created my case number and sent an email mentioning they will send it to the embassy its been 10 days should i wait for the embassy to reach out to me or just book the appointment from cgi federal ?

Any update on ur AP?

@Maz23 Will write the interview review this week, but short story is that is was very, very simple.
@BurgerSb You want to watch out for an FTC email from the Embassy with links and the prompt for you to schedule interview, medical exam, etc. At this point, with a case number, you can complete the DS-160 carefully and correctly. You must submit that form before you can schedule, interview, medical, etc.
@Waiting678 Our latest update for AP was today, without a known inquiry. I did reach out to my state rep and they notified me a few weeks ago that a request to expedite was made by them to NVC due to my current medical conditions. Which dates and if the NVC has received their inquires are unclear to me at the moment. We don't have much ideas as to why we are in AP, but that we since that this is expected based on our case demographics.

CONGRATULATIONS..... about time
My fiance and yours had the interview on the same date.
This is such a pain but I am glad it is a good resolution, best of luck

Congrats man, was ur case showing refused the whole time? When did It change to administration processing

I literally had tears in my eyes when I saw your timeline with a “visa received†date! I’m so happy for you both!!! Congratulations!

@Mitzab Thank you so much!!! I know you know my story!! God's timing is perfect.

@Waiting768 I just updated my case status tracking above so you can see when it changed to administrative processing.

@Zwali Thank you, thank you!! It's so nice to have this platform to share support, on to the next step! Yay happy tears :)

so happy for you :) he made it

when do you get that yellow packet? i just had my interview yesterday the officer said the case has been approved but there was no mention of the yellow packet

Hello Patou @ Kashou… Have you done your interview ?

Hi @Robot41, we have not done an interview, we just got an RFE today. So far can't tell what it is for.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
