The gentleman asked me, the petitioner, simple questions about my wife's family, their names, and where they lived, where my wife was born, how many nieces and nephews she had etc.  On a side note, my beneficiary was asked if she had the key to my home. When se she yes, we were asked to hand over our house keys so he could see if indeed we both had the same keys to our home.

Hey Hey, it's Oregon Ray!

You can search the forum and see if your consulate or embassy has any reviews by people who've recently interviewed.  You may get a better feel for what the process will be like that way.

I was with the officer for about 5 mins max when I did mine. Looked at some paperwork and then asked me 2 questions.

1) How many bedrooms does your spouse have? answer 1.

2) Where do his kids sleep? They are grown-up and left home so they don't sleep there!

He certainly didn't ask me about my weight.

It was a really quick and easy interview. I can't guarantee that yours will be like that but that was my experience.
