Consulate Review: Guangzhou, China
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description

Embassy Review : Fast and simple once you figure out where to pay your fee and where in fact the Consulate really is as there is not even a sign or a US flag on the new building telling you anything.
Friendly but business like staff at Consulate and they stuck to their own rules for information requests from us.
Watch out for all of the visa scam artists working in the area claiming to be knowledgable for a fee. My guess is trust only yourself and your own research.
The out door line up in the morning offers no protection form the weather, dress accordingly.
Rating : Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Portland OR

Event Description
Review Date : December 24, 2017
Embassy Review : The Portland Oregon local office of the USCIS is really nice; everything worked great. So, they have finally moved in their new and permanent home, and we have been there now three times. They are VERY easy to find, with super easy parking right in front, both street parking, and a super easy little public parking lot right across the street. The front door security could not be faster, or easier. The place is very organized, and timely. There is nothing close to them in the way of food, gas, coffee, or passport photos, so arrive prepared.
When you go, have everything you need. Have it all organized, and be sure you have the required photos. We have seen several people come and go crying because they forgot their photos.
We recommend a little motel right across the river, like a 5 minute drive, (no commute), and 10 minutes with bad commute. The name is the Rodeway Inn, Convention center: 305 N Broadway, Portland, OR, 97227 No, I d not get a commission, I just like clean and simple.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
