Hi everybody

I had my interview Sept 27. Officer kept my passport but did not say if I was approved or not. when I checked CEAC  after the interview it said refused with the long message, there were two updates and on the 3rd yesterday it changed to a short refused message. Does this mean I have been refused for good or do I still have a chance?  I have two children in the US.  They both have COVID right now I am so desperate.

We need to see exactly what the CEAC status says.  The fact that they still have your passport is a good sign.

This is what it says on CEAC. It says refer to the letter you got at the interview but the problem is I didn’t get a letter they just took the passport and didn’t give me anything.
