Interview Appointment Wait Times

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help share their experience. Has anyone had their interview appointment for their K-1 visa at the US Embassy in Sweden recently? On July 20th my fiancé‘s paperwork was sent from the NVC to the US Embassy in Sweden and we are trying to get a rough estimate when he could be receiving an interview date. We haven’t heard from the embassy yet. We have a October 2, 2021 wedding date so we were getting very nervous. It would be helpful to know if it’s likely he could have his interview appointment in the next month or should we be expecting he won’t have his interview until at least a couple of months. Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

the best way to know is to find some people who are swdish or live in SwEden who are in the same process becauSe each country has A different time table like i find mine on a facebook group there are all italians to figure something out

Hey there, there's this thread for Scandinavians that you should totally check up! They talk about the US Embassy in Sweden (that also deals with other Scandinavian couples like Denmark). You can have a better idea and also ask any other questions you might have.

How can you possibly have a wedding date for a K-1 when there is so much uncertainty with this type of visa?
