Hello everyone,

Can you share a story when you use your F1 OPT income to meet the requirements for I-864 and was approved (No RFE from the USCIS) and your greencard was approved? But if you did get a RFE for I-864 & couldnt find a joint sponsor, what did you do?

Thank  you so much your input will help a lot

To clarify- on what basis are you trying to adjust?  Are you married to a US citizen, but they citizen has no income (or not enough) so you are trying to self-sponsor?

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Correct ! It's marriage-based AOS and yes I'm married to a US citizen but his income is not enough so I'm trying to add my income too (since i've been working with my OPT EAD)

Do you have evidence that your current income will continue from the same source after you become an LPR?  Like an official letter from your employer stating that they'll continue to employ you after you get your GC.
