Hi there,

Important question regarding the Biometrics: I just went to get my biometrics done and on top of waiting a super long time (4 hours lol) I had a problem there.

So, i have super sweaty hands and fingers and I knew beforehand that it was gonna hard to get my bio done. When the USCIS agent tried to take my fingerprints most of my finger had an orange sign on top of it (/!\ RETAKE). So he tried to do it again, he got 3 fingers right and then he was “it’s fine, they’ll figure it out.”

I insisted to have them redone because the screen was literary saying “/!\ BLURRY IMAGE, RETAKE” but he wouldn’t hear anything. he told me i’d be fine.

My concern is that they realize it’s not good enough and that they call me back for bios. did it ever happen to any of you?

Would appreciate your help!

Havent heard something like that, even your 4-hr wait is a little uncommon.

If they said it’s fine, it’s fine. If you really insist on retaking the biometrics, you may try calling USCIS again to set up an appointment or at least ask if it’s possible to redo it. Has your case status updated to reflect that fingerprints were taken?
