Omg boarding time is 1:10 for flight to dfw and she was told to claim her luggage, what happens now

She will be able to put her baggage on a belt to her next flight, IF they checked her bags through to DFW. I have not flown into SFO from an international flight recently. Depending on where the international arrivals exit, she may have to go through security again in SFO as a domestic flight. Hopefully, they gave her all the boarding passes, or she will have to get one for the flight to Dallas.

Remember she is trying to navigate through it all so it may be hard to text you every detail. Patience...She will be with you soon. All that matters at this point is that she is on US soil

She has not told me if they cleared her through immigration yet

There is a bunch of steps to go through, so patience is required:

  1. Immigration
  2. Pick up her bag
  3. Customs
  4. Bag drop off
  5. Change terminals (probably)
  6. TSA Security

Focus on her being here.

Finally done.

This is one reason to always try and book any connecting flight with the same record locator or booking reference ID. If you were to book MNL to LAX with a separate booking from LAX to Dallas, and she is late to that flight, airlines are not obligated to pay for her next flight if it’s missed. However if it’s all booked with the same number then they will just put her on the next flight.  Some people try to book separate flights to save money but it’s not always the wisest idea.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Good to know, Don't you think they used the same record locator.  I have flown AA many times from MNL to Narita and onto DFW always had the same record locator number.
