she has a notice coming for a biometric exam. this asks for vaccination record which she has for herself and daughter but they are in Russian. Can she supply the translation herself?

If she is fluent in both English and Russian, she can.  She will just need to include a certification statement at the bottom of the translation.

Vaccination record for biometrics? Never heard of it.

 

Just to make sure, is this a biometrics appointment for an adjustment of status (you posted in the AOS forum) or is it a visa application in a consulate?
