Hey there,

Currently waiting for AOS (baltimore) i filed in may and did NOT expedite anything and I got my bio appointment for next week. I was wondering, do you think i might get the interview right after? I see a lot of people getting their interview date a few weeks after doing the bio. would be amazing if you could help me:

here’s my timeline:

  • May 14, 2021: Sent Application Package (I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-765, I-864)
  • May 17, 2021: Application Package delivered at USCIS Chicago Lockbox.
  • May 27, 2021: received all the NOA1 text receipts/checks cashed
  • May 31, 2021: received all the NOA1 in the mail
  • July 10, 2021: received I-693 deficiency notice in the mail
  • July 26, 2021: bio appointment letter received -> bio appointment 08/06

Depends on the ASC.I know someone who is in CA, who submitted in September 2020, and got their bio in like November, but is still currently waiting on their Interview. Their status is Case Ready for Interview. So, it really, really depends.

Mine was a late bio, but I got my appointment 2ish months later, but that is because I have somewhat a fast ASC.

No relationship between quick biometrics and a quick interview.

YMMV

i’m not saying you are wrong, but isn’t there any truth to that?

ASC and local office are two different places.

We had biometrics at 3 or 4 weeks, interview at almost one year

YMMV
