Applying for citizenship help

Hi Everyone, 

My husband is beginning to apply for his citizenship.  Does he have to report traffic tickets, etc?

Yes! One of the questions asked if you have EVER been cited...... A traffic ticket is definitely a citation that needs to be reported, but is rarely a cause for concern, unless there are so many that it raises questions regarding his good moral character...

Some lawyers say yes, some say no.  
 

If he has all the documentation for all his traffic tickets, then no harm in reporting them.  If he discloses one or more traffic tickets and doesn’t have the documentation then he runs the risk of approval being held up.

This...there is no harm in reporting them. I reported two tickets - one from 2003 (yes, 2003) and more recent. Even managed to get hold of the documentation from the 2003 instance that proved that I had paid the fine. IO just told me to be more careful in future.
