Are there any recommendations for moving two cats from Canada to the U.S.? My cats currently are stuck in Canada, and both my husband and I are in U.S..  I do not think our travel to Canada was considered "essential travel" per the Canada government requirement. Since the border between U.S. and Canada is still closed, it seems very hard for our cats coming to the U.S.. We have asked some pet shipping companies, and they all let us wait for sometime. I am also willing to pay for individuals that are able to help me move my cats to the U.S. border or in the U.S. if you driving across the border. Thank you so much!

Due to covid ur best bet is pet shipping. They will be able to find the flights that can take them. Currently most airline aren’t doing pets (service animals with there handlers are allowed)

Are you vaccinated? If so, you'll be able to enter soon without having to quarantine...

Thank you so much for your suggestion! Is this rule only for Canadian citizens or Canadian permanent residents? Does it work for US citizens?

Are either of you Canadian citizens? Or have immediate Canadian family? The vaccination exemption still only applies to citizens, residents, or any of the people who were already deemed essential or have family exemptions. If you have family to vouch for you, you may be able to apply to enter.

Citizens can't be denied entry to Canada. You do still need to follow the COVID rules though. Check out the Canada government travel site for the latest.

The border is still technically closed to non-Canadians unless they are deemed essential service personnel.
